FAQs

How does the club communicate? Via email and Facebook.

Do we need to have a mix of male and female players?

All senior teams must have a minimum of one female player on field at all times. Junior teams can be mixed, or all female or all male.

Do we supply referees?

Each team needs to provide a referee and be prepared to referee at least half a game. Due to the number of teams entering the competition, we cannot provide referees for games. Juniors - maybe ask one of the older players to referee and agree a koha!

Do we need to supply a team Manager?

Yes, all teams must have someone nominated to recieve communications and be the main point of contact.

Do we need to supply a Coach?

There is no formal coaching, only games. We will leave it up to individual teams to organise their own training sessions.

Are there proper games or is it more a run-around/drills?

All 5-aside sessions are games. There are no drills or training sessions, but you are welcome to organise your own.  Rules can be found on this page

Do we need to purchase your t-shirts?

Teams supply their own team tops or use our bibs. There are bibs available each week if you have two teams with the same colour tops playing each other. Numbers on the tops are not essential.
