2025 FIRST KICKS AND FUN FOOTBALL

The First Kicks and Fun Football programme is for our youngest players. First Kicks is for children aged 4-6 years and Fun Football is for 7-8 year olds. In this programme children are introduced to football through a series of skills and small sided games run by an experienced coaching team. 

Note: children who are 8 turning 9 in 2025 should register as a Junior U9 player. Children who turn 8 in October to December can play Fun Football or Junior U9. If you are unsure, please contact us to check.  

Registration

Registrations for the 2025 Winter Season are now closed. Please contact admin@prebbletonfootball.co.nz if you want to ask about a late registration.  

Venue

All sesions are run at Kakaha Park, Birches Road, Prebbleton.

Season Fees

The fees for 2025 are $150.00.

Coaching 

We are a small community based club. We have many talented coaches, but due to the numbers of children now in our First Kicks and Fun Football sessions we do rely on parents to help us run the sessions so everyone gets the most out of them and we can keep groups small. If you are able to help please contact us or indicate this on the registration form. You don't need any experience! 

Uniform 

There is no specific uniform for this grade, children should wear comfortable shorts and t-shirts. Shin pads are compulsory for all players. Football boots are recommended - no metal cleats.

If you want to play in PFC gear, you can order PFC playing tops and shorts through our gear store. 

We will provide all players in this grade with socks and a boot bag as a welcome to our Club. We also provide all equipment and bibs. 

Season Dates and Times

Dates are to be confirmed - but sessions will be run on during terms two and three. Sessions run on Saturday mornings from 10-11am. Any cancellations due to weather or field closures are sent out via Facebook and WhatsApp groups. We try and give plenty of notice if we have to cancel sessions and cancellations are rare.
