2026 Junior 10th to 13th Mixed Grades
Prebbleton Football Club enters all 10th - 13th grade teams in the Mainland Competition in the Mixed Juniors.

Entering the right grade
Our mixed junior grades are for all children who are turning age 10 to 13 in 2026. It is important that children are entered into the correct grade for their age. 10th and 11th Grade
Children who turn 10 in 2026 should register in the 10th grade and children who are turning 11 should register in the 11th grade.
Children who turn 10 any time from October to December 2026 can choose to play in the 10th grade or enter our Fun Football programme. Children who turn age 11 in October to December 2026 can choose to play in the 10th or the 11th grade.
Games are played on Saturday mornings on a junior size field and in a seven a-side format. Games are 50 minutes in duration (two 25 minute halves). Games are at the same time each week and may be scheduled at our home fields at Kakaha Park or at other fields around Canterbury. A size 4 ball is used.
12th and 13th Grade
Children who turn 12 in 2026 should register in the 12th grade and children who are turning 13 should register in the 13th grade.
Children who turn 12 in October to December 2026 can choose to play in the 11th or 12th grade. Children who turn age 13 in October to December 2026 can choose to play in the 12th or the 13th grade.
Games are played on Saturday mornings on an intermediate size field and in a nine a-side format. Games are 50 minutes in duration (two 25 minute halves) for 12th grade and 60 minutes (two 30 minute halves) for 13th grade. Games are at the same time each week and may be scheduled at our home fields at Kakaha Park or at other fields around Canterbury. A size 4 ball is used.
Training and games
Training for our junior grades will start in April with games starting late April/early May. The season ends in September. All teams will have a coach and a manager. Trainings are held at Kakaha Park, Birchs Road, Prebbleton. Games are played at home or away.
Communication
We will set up WhatsApp groups for all of our teams and so that we can share important information. General information is posted on our Facebook page and we send regular e-newsletters throughout the season.
Uniform
All players must play in the correct Prebbleton FC playing top, shorts and socks. We will provide playing tops for all players (these are returned at the end of each season) and for the 2026 season we will also provide shorts and socks for all players in the competition grades. The shorts and socks will be for the players to keep and the requirement to wear them when playing will be compulsory.
Following the 2026 season, the club will provide shorts to new players to the club only, however the requirement to wear Prebbleton FC shorts when playing will remain compulsory for all players. Replacement shorts and socks as well as other Prebbleton FC items can be purchased through our Dynasty club store: Prebbleton FC: Stock Store
Shin pads are compulsory and football boots should be worn (no metal cleats). There are also hoodies, jackets and other supporters gear available through our our Dynasty club store (see link above).
